Description
The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) has issued an air quality alert for our region for at least today, July 16th, and may extend into tomorrow, July 17th. Residents - especially those with asthma, COPD, heart or lung conditions, older adults, children, and pregnant individuals - are encouraged to limit prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity until conditions improve.
Borough staff are currently monitoring conditions and considering an early closure of the community pool today for the safety of swimmers and pool staff. Updates will be provided via Savvy Citizen.
