⚠️ Air Quality Alert for Crafton Residents
The Allegheny County Health Department has issued an air quality alert for our region. Residents — especially those with asthma, COPD, heart or lung conditions, older adults, children, and pregnant individuals — are encouraged to limit prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity until conditions improve.
Tips to reduce exposure:
🏠 Stay indoors when possible and keep windows closed
🚗 Reduce unnecessary vehicle trips and avoid idling
🚬 Avoid burning wood, leaves, or trash
💊 If you have a respiratory or heart condition, keep medications on hand and contact your doctor if you experience symptoms
Crafton Swimming Pool Patrons: Per the Borough's operational handbook, if the Air Quality Index rises above 151 (Unhealthy), the Crafton pool may be temporarily closed for the safety of swimmers and staff. Please check our page for updates before heading to the pool.
