LCRA will open multiple floodgates at Wirtz Dam and Starcke Dam later today. Flows will be fast and water levels will be higher than usual downstream of the dams. Take action to protect people and property.
Conditions are dynamic and may change rapidly with additional rainfall or higher inflows. LCRA is closely monitoring conditions and encourages the public to remain alert to local conditions and be prepared to take protective actions.
