Quick Pool Update For Today July 16th
Hey Coudersport! We've got some Canadian wildfire smoke rolling through Potter County today, putting us in a Code Red (Unheathy) air quality level. Because we vaule our lifeguards, staff, and community, we want to keep everyone breathing easy, so the town pool will be closed for open/recreational swim today.
Here is the game plan for today's activities:
1. Swim Lessons: Still on! we chatted with our pool staff, and since lessons are shorter and less strenuous, we are good to go.
2. Tonight's Swim Meet: This decision is up to the swim teams.
3. The Good News: The air quality is expected to clear up throughout the day, dropping down to moderate (much safer!) levels by the time the meet is scheduled to start.
