Description
Lancaster Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania is seeking community-minded residents to fill two (2) vacancies on the Parks Committee.
The Parks Committee serves in an advisory capacity, assisting the governing body in the planning, maintenance, and programing of municipal parks, open spaces, and community recreational facilities. Members advise local officials on park development, landscaping, and facility upgrades. They help organize and promote community events and recreation programs. They also conduct routine park inspections and report on maintenance and safety needs.
The Parks Committee meetings monthly on the first Tuesday of each month, unless additional meetings are required for event or project planning.
This position is open to residents of Lancaster Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
