Good Afternoon Inglis residents,
Here is the latest update regarding the Town of Inglis water system.
We are currently still connected to Yankeetown Water and will remain on Yankeetown Water until the Inglis Water Plant is back up and running. Please note that there is no boil water notice in effect at this time.
Last week, the Town was informed that the new water filters were expected to arrive by the end of the week. Due to shipping delays, their arrival has been pushed to this week. Once the filters are received, they will be installed immediately.
We understand that this process has taken longer than expected, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that we are working hard to restore service from the Inglis Water Plant as quickly and safely as possible.
