Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 6 at 6:51PM EDT until July 6 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 650 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Truman, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Cameron, Emporium, Benezette, Truman, East Branch Dam, Elk
River, and Hicks Run.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
