Northeastern Elk County in north central Pennsylvania...
* Until 715 PM EDT.
* At 633 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over St. Marys,
moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Cameron, Emporium, Benezette, Truman, East Branch Dam,
Elk River, and Hicks Run.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this severe
thunderstorm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's
leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.
