Description
Due to the ongoing power outage, the Township will open a Cooling Station at the Middle Paxton Township Municipal Building to provide residents with a safe, air-conditioned place to cool down.
đź’§ Water and light snacks will be available while supplies last.
The Fire Company has also advised that its shower facilities will be open to the public until 9:00 PM this evening.
Please note:
• The Cooling Station is not an overnight shelter.
• It will be open for limited hours during periods of extreme weather and power outages.
• Visitors are expected to return home when the Cooling Station closes.
Please check on your family, friends, and neighbors—especially older adults, young children, and anyone with health conditions—and encourage anyone in need of relief from the heat to take advantage of this resource.
