Northern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 1130 PM EDT.
* At 730 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Florence, Burlington, Bristol,
Riverside, Hatboro, Jenkintown, Bordentown, Beverly and Rockledge.
People attending St. Michaels Fair should seek shelter immediately.

Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 58 and 60.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey near mile marker 0.
Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 30 and 40.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 339 and 359.
Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
