Southwestern Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
West Central Armstrong County in west central Pennsylvania...
Butler County in west central Pennsylvania...
Lawrence County in western Pennsylvania...
* Until 630 PM EDT.
* At 235 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 3
to 4 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

New Castle, Hermitage, Sharon, Butler, Grove City, Sharpsville,
Ellwood City, Homeacre-Lyndora, Farrell, Shanor-Northvue, Meridian,
Slippery Rock, Meadowood, New Wilmington, Oak Hills, Oakwood, New
Castle Northwest, Mercer and New Beaver.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
