Flash Flood Warning issued July 5 at 2:08PM EDT until July 5 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Mahoning County in northeastern Ohio...
Southern Trumbull County in northeastern Ohio...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 208 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 30 minutes.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Youngstown, Warren, Boardman, Niles, Campbell, Hubbard, Canfield,
Cortland, Newton Falls, Lordstown, Hilltop, Vienna Center,
Leavittsburg, Maplewood Park, Austintown, Struthers, Girard,
Vienna, McDonald and Poland.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
