Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 6:55PM EDT until July 4 at 7:30PM EDT by NWS Binghamton NY
At 655 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pond Hill, or 8
miles northeast of Berwick, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Wilkes-Barre, Nanticoke, Plymouth, Freeland, Ashley, Bear Creek,
Dorrance, Slocum, White Haven, and Preston.
