The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Adams County in south central Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Franklin County in south central Pennsylvania...
Southwestern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 638 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Littlestown to Rouzerville, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
York, Hanover, Weigelstown, Gettysburg, Parkville, Hampton, Shiloh,
West York, Littlestown, Carroll Valley, Codorus, and Grantley.

This includes Interstate 83 from mile markers 20 to 23.

Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in State College PA.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these severe
thunderstorms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's
leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.
