Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 5:56PM EDT until July 4 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 556 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles southeast of Black Lick to near Irwin, or along a line from 10
miles south of Homer City to 7 miles southwest of Jeannette, moving
east at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Mount Pleasant,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Blairsville, Youngwood, Derry, Lawson
Heights, New Stanton, Ligonier, Seven Springs, Calumet-Norvelt, New
Florence, New Alexandria, Seward, Penn, Bolivar and Madison.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
