* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Northeastern Luzerne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Bradford County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Wyoming County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 513 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kasson Brook,
or 10 miles west of Tunkhannock, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Dunmore, Kingston, Plains, Old
Forge, Pittston, Archbald, and Blakely.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
