Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 3 at 5:49PM EDT until July 3 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Binghamton NY

At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harveys Lake,
or 7 miles northwest of Wilkes-Barre, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Muhlenberg, Dunmore, Kingston,
Nanticoke, Plains, Old Forge, and Pittston.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
