Description
I, Steven Palmer, Mayor of the Borough of Marysville, do hereby
declare a burn ban
in Marysville Borough effective July 2, 2026. Marysville Borough has implemented a burn ban due to the current dry weather conditions and extreme heat.
The burn ban is expected to remain in effect over the next few days. Borough Officials, Marysville Fire Chief and the Fire Prevention Officer will continue to monitor conditions, and updates will be provided as they become available.
Residents are urged to comply with this burn ban and refrain from all outdoor burning activities during the time that could create sparks or ignite dry vegetation.
The Borough will continue to monitor conditions and will announce when the burn ban has been lifted.
