Extreme Heat Warning issued June 30 at 10:12AM EDT until July 2 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 107
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. The prolonged nature of the
heat event with little overnight relief through the week will
increase impacts to vulnerable populations.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
