Due to the extreme heat expected over the next several days, the Liberty Borough Fire Department will be available as a Cooling Center for any Liberty Borough resident who may need a safe, air-conditioned place to cool down.

Cooling Center Hours:
* Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Wednesday July 1, 2026 and Thursday, July 2, 2026 please use Social Hall
* Friday, July 3, 2026 please use the upstairs of Fire Department
You are welcome to stop by the Fire Department.
Please call the Borough Office during normal business hours (8:00am-4:00pm) 412.678.3286
After Business hours, please call 911 and ask to speak with Liberty Borough Police Department, who will assist in making arrangements for you to use the cooling center.
