South Schuylkill Unified is looking for community-minded people who want to help strengthen our region.
Please join us for a virtual Volunteer and Board Information Session on Tuesday, July 21 at 12:00 noon via Zoom.
This session is for anyone interested in learning more about South Schuylkill Unified and possible opportunities to serve as a Board member, Main Street Advisory Board member, committee member, project volunteer, event volunteer, or community ambassador.
During the session, we will discuss:
• What South Schuylkill Unified is and why it was created
• Our first-year initiatives and current projects
• Our regional approach to economic development and community revitalization
• Our work with Schuylkill Haven, Cressona, North Manheim, South Manheim, and Wayne
• Our intention to apply for Main Street designation
• Volunteer, committee, advisory, and Board opportunities
• How residents, businesses, organizations, and partners can get involved
This is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and consider where your time, skills, experience, or community connections may be helpful.
