Flash Flood Warning issued June 28 at 5:45PM EDT until June 28 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 545 PM EDT, Doppler radar and local law enforcement reported
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Penn Hills, Monroeville, Plum, West Mifflin, Murrysville,
Wilkinsburg, Munhall, North Versailles, Swissvale, White Oak,
Forest Hills, Wilkins Township, Duquesne, Turtle Creek, North
Braddock, Pitcairn, Manor and Trafford.

Thompson Run road near Monroeville was flooded.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
