Description
Flash Flood Warning issued June 22 at 8:28AM CDT until June 22 at 10:30AM CDT by NWS Memphis TN
At 828 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain in Trumann. Between 2 and 5+ inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring with additional heavy rainfall
expected.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Public reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Jonesboro, Blytheville, Osceola, Trumann, Gosnell, Manila, Marked
Tree, Harrisburg, Bono, Lake City, Leachville, Lepanto, Bay,
Brookland, Monette, Caraway, Tyronza, Keiser, Weiner and Joiner.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
