The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Aransas County in south central Texas...
Northern Kleberg County in south central Texas...
Nueces County in south central Texas...
San Patricio County in south central Texas...
* Until 1015 AM CDT.
* At 714 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Portland, Robstown, Sinton, Port
Aransas, Taft, Driscoll, Corpus Christi International Airport,
Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Bishop, Odem, Gregory, Ingleside On The
Bay, San Patricio, Clarkwood, Del Mar College Windward Campus,
Cabaniss Field and Del Mar College Heritage Campus.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
