The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Curry County in east central New Mexico...
Central Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 630 PM MDT.

* At 556 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
10 miles south of Broadview to 10 miles south of Melrose, moving
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Portales, Texico, Melrose, Saint Vrain, Cannon Air Force
Base, Oasis State Park, Ranchvale, Arch and Floyd.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 351 and 397.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
