Description
Flash Flood Warning issued June 14 at 9:28PM CDT until June 14 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX

At 928 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain, particularly in and around the Lorena, Bruceville-Eddy, and
Cego areas where between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Temple, Belton, Gatesville, Robinson, McGregor, Morgan's Point
Resort, Lorena, Troy, Bruceville-Eddy, Moody, Mother Neff State
Park, Belton Lake, Fort Gates, Oglesby and Whitson.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
