* Until 1000 PM EDT.
* At 856 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Buttonwood to Cogan Station to Williamsport to near
Elimsport, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Williamsport, Milton, Montoursville, Muncy, Watsontown,
Hughesville, Montgomery, Duboistown, Lightstreet, New Columbia,
Allenwood, and Jerseytown.
Radar has indicated rotation within these severe thunderstorms.
Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop
quickly during severe thunderstorms.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Jersey Shore and Berwick-Lime Ridge exits, specifically between mile
markers 195 and 214, and from mile markers 238 to 240.
This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 1 to 29.
These are dangerous storms. To stay safe, immediately move inside a
well built structure and stay away from windows.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and
north central Pennsylvania.
