Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 14 at 6:33PM EDT until June 14 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 633 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near West Kittanning to 7 miles north of Cameron, or along a line
from near Kittanning to 7 miles east of Moundsville, moving east at
35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
Monroeville, McMurray, McKeesport, Washington, Moundsville,
Canonsburg, Vandergrift, Kittanning, Apollo, Gastonville, Shaler
Township, Plum, West Mifflin and North Side Pittsburgh.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
