Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 11 at 4:05PM EDT until June 11 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 405 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over New Bethlehem to over Scottdale, or along a line from 9 miles
southeast of Rimersburg to 7 miles north of Connellsville, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Indiana, Jeannette, Latrobe, Punxsutawney, Vandergrift,
Kittanning, Homer City, Apollo, Rimersburg, Murrysville, Irwin,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Blairsville, Manor, Youngwood, Ford City,
Derry and Delmont.

Numerous trees and power lines have been reported down with this line
of storms.

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh PA.
