Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 11 at 3:01PM EDT until June 11 at 3:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 301 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Zelienople to near Wellsburg, or along a line from 10 miles
north of Cranberry to near Wellsburg, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Ross Township, McCandless Township, Cranberry, Moon
Township, Weirton, Butler, Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Beaver Falls,
Monaca, Wellsburg, West Liberty, Avella, Clearview, Shaler
Township, North Side Pittsburgh and Hampton Township.
Trees have been reported down in several locations along this line of
storms.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms have produced damaging winds.
