Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 10 at 4:48PM CDT until June 10 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL
At 448 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Ogden Dunes to near Winfield, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Lakes of the Four
Seasons, South Haven, Porter, Winfield, Burns Harbor, Beverly
Shores and Town of Pines.
Prepare for damaging winds and cloud to ground lightning. Seek
shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from windows.
