Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 10 at 4:32PM CDT until June 10 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL
At 431 PM CDT, severe thunderstorm outflow winds were located along
a line extending from Portage to near Lake Dalecarlia, moving east
at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe storms will be near...
Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Hobart, Crown Point,
Chesterton, Lakes of the Four Seasons, South Haven, Porter, and
Winfield around 435 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Beverly Shores.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
