Description
⚠️ ROAD HAZARD REPORTING REMINDER ⚠️
If you encounter a road issue on a public roadway, such as a downed tree, please do not contact the Township Office, especially after normal business hours.
📞 If a tree has brought down power lines, call 911 immediately.
📞 If a tree is blocking a roadway and there are no power lines involved, contact the Dauphin County Emergency Management Agency (DCEMA) at 717-558-5900.
Dauphin County EMA will notify and dispatch the appropriate response agency, including the Township and/or the Fire Company, as needed.
🚧 If you notice a traffic sign that is down, damaged, missing, or appears to have been stolen, please report it directly to the Township Office, 717-921-8128. These issues are not emergency dispatch matters and can be addressed through the Township's normal reporting process.
Please note that calling the Township Office about downed trees or other roadway hazards after normal business hours—will not directly dispatch emergency responders or road crews and may delay the response.
Thank you for helping us ensure that road hazards are reported through the proper channels so they can be addressed as quickly and safely as possible.
