Description
Tomorrow is the African American Museum of Bucks County's 2nd Juneteenth Festival at the Mayors' Playground. The festival features live music, educational speakers, children's activities, food trucks, local businesses and vendors, and more. The Borough will also have a table set up with informational materials and 150th anniversary merchandise--come by and visit!
A surprise Sesame Street character will be joining as well, so be sure to bring the kids!
This year's Juneteenth Festival is particularly significant, as later this month the African American Museum is finally scheduled to open at its permanent location at the historic Boone Farm. This is the perfect opportunity to show your support for the museum ahead of the opening. For more information and to make donations, please visit the AAMBC's website.
