Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 31 at 8:48PM CDT until May 31 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

At 848 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles southwest of Southland to 7 miles northwest
of Tahoka, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Tahoka, Wilson, and New Home.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
