Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 31 at 8:38PM CDT until May 31 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX
At 837 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Post to 4 miles north of Tahoka,
moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Tahoka, Wilson, and New Home.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and
will lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
