The Borough is proud to announce that our 2025 newsletter, Hatboro Happenings has once again been honored with the annual Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs (PSAB) Newsletter/Communications Award, recognizing excellence in Communication. Communication with residents is a critical function of local government. A newsletter plays an important role in getting information about projects, department happenings, street closures, events, and any array of services.
This award highlights the newsletter's outstanding quality, creativity, and impact engaging with Borough citizens. Selected from a competitive pool of entries, Hatboro Happenings stood out for its content, layout, functionality, interactivity, overall experience, photos and value of news contained to name some of the items judged on.
The Borough is incredibly honored to receive this recognition. Our newsletter was created to inform and connect with our residents and business owners, and this award affirms the hard work and dedication of our team.
President Reichner and Borough Manager Hegele will accept the award at the PSAB annual conference next week in Hershey PA.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to delivering valuable, relevant, and engaging content. Staff works very hard not just on the newsletter but all communication with the residents, business owners and visitors to Hatboro. Borough Council thanks them for always making sure everyone is informed.
The Borough would also like to thank all the business owners who purchase the ad space that pays for print and mailing.
We would also like to thank Hometown Press who does the layout, printing and mailing of the newsletter.
