Flood Warning issued May 27 at 8:02AM CDT until May 27 at 9:30AM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX
* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Aransas County in south central Texas...
Southeastern Bee County in south central Texas...
Northeastern Jim Wells County in south central Texas...
Northeastern Kleberg County in south central Texas...
Southeastern Live Oak County in south central Texas...
Nueces County in south central Texas...
Southwestern Refugio County in south central Texas...
San Patricio County in south central Texas...
Southern Calhoun County in south Texas...
* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 800 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooded roads and
stranded vehicles from prior heavy rain in the warned area due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.

Corpus Christi, Portland, Robstown, Rockport, Sinton, Mathis,
Port Aransas, Taft, Refugio, Woodsboro, Corpus Christi
International Airport, Skidmore, Lamar, Ingleside, Aransas Pass,
Odem, Gregory, Orange Grove, St. Paul and Ingleside On The Bay.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
