Flood Watch issued May 26 at 1:06PM EDT until May 27 at 10:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, Muskingum and Noble, southwest
Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Fayette, Greene,
Higher Elevations of Fayette and Washington, and West Virginia,
including the following areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker,
Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Ridges of Eastern
Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.
* WHEN...From midnight EDT tonight through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of fairly saturated grounds with heavy rain from
showers and thunderstorms capable that may train, or repeatedly
move over, the same locations could result in flash flooding.
