Dover Township offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. On this solemn day of remembrance, we honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
Originally known as Decoration Day after the Civil War, Memorial Day began as a time to decorate the graves of fallen service members with flowers... a tradition of gratitude and reflection that continues today. We encourage everyone to take a moment to remember, honor, and give thanks to those who gave all in service to our nation.
