Flood Watch issued May 21 at 12:27AM CDT until May 25 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including
the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and
Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Brazoria Islands, Coastal
Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Matagorda, Fort Bend,
Galveston Island, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland
Matagorda, Matagorda Islands and Wharton.
* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Increasingly saturated grounds will be prone to faster runoff
and potential flooding with additional rounds of storms
expected through the weekend.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
