Special Weather Statement issued May 19 at 4:41PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN
At 441 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bassett, or near Wilson, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Osceola, Luxora, Wilson, Tyronza, Keiser, Meeman Shelby Forest State
Park, Fort Pillow State Park, Joiner, Dyess, Gilmore, Bassett,
Jericho, Marie, Fulton, Dixonville, Turrell, Clarkedale, Etowah,
Birdsong, and Victoria.
This includes Interstate 55 in Arkansas between mile markers 14 and
54.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
