SUNDAY FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FAR
SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE, THE SOUTH PLAINS, AND MOST OF THE
ROLLING PLAINS...

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING
THROUGH MONDAY EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
FOR THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE, THE SOUTH PLAINS, AND MOST
OF THE ROLLING PLAINS...

* Wind... For Sunday: Southwest at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to
35 mph. For Monday: Southwest at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
40 mph.

* Humidity...For Sunday: As low as 5 percent. For Monday: As low
as 4 percent.

* Fuels...For Sunday: Critically dry. For Monday:
Critically dry to extremely dry.

* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
