Wesleyville Police & Fire Respond to House Fire on East 30th Street
Earlier today, just after 8:00 a.m., officers from the Wesleyville Police Department were on routine patrol when Patrolman Maille and Chief Buzanowski discovered a house fire in the 2800 block of East 30th Street.
Upon discovering the fire, the officers immediately notified emergency responders and took action to assist at the scene. While awaiting the arrival of fire personnel, officers attempted to rescue two dogs believed to still be inside the residence.
Officers remained on scene assisting multiple responding fire agencies with traffic and scene management while also providing care to the dogs rescued from the home.
The Wesleyville Police Department would like to recognize the quick actions and teamwork displayed by all first responders involved in today’s incident.
