Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 14 at 3:00PM MDT until May 14 at 3:30PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
At 300 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Ranchvale, or 14 miles northwest of Clovis, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Clovis and Pleasant Hill.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
Frequent lightning and damaging winds are likely from this storm, but
little rain will reach the ground.
