May 14, 2026 -Thursday,
There are no current Solicitation Permits issued for Caernarvon Township, Berks County, PA.
We would like to remind our residents to check out our Caernarvon Township website at caernarvon.org as well as Savvy Citizen and the Caernarvon Township Police Department Crimewatch page as we will post if a solicitation permit is issued. When a permit is issued to they are issued a Caernarvon Township solicitation card with their photograph on it which is to be worn around their neck.
Earlier today we were made aware of door to door solicitation going on in the township for pest control. Our Officer's responded and shut the operation down and a warning was issued and they were advised to get a solicitation permit from the township.
Residents are reminded to request to see their permit and if not visible. Any issues with a person that is soliciting we ask that your call 911 to report the issue.
