Fire Weather Watch issued May 14 at 1:16PM CDT until May 15 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX
The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through Friday
evening.
* Timing...11 am until 8 pm.
* Wind...Southwest at 20 to 25 mph.
* Humidity...As low as 7 percent.
* Fuels...Critically dry.
* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
