Description
The Borough of Avalon has contracted N & N Landscaping, LLC to complete the Elizabeth Avenue Road and Sidewalk Replacement project, funded by a DCED Multimodal Transportation Grant.
There road replacement portion of this project requires two separate full road closures:
First Closure- May 12, 2026 - June 1, 2026
This closure will affect the portion of Elizabeth from California Ave to Taylor Ave
Second Closure- June 2, 2026 - June 15, 2026
This closure will affect the portion of Elizabeth from Taylor Ave to Florence Ave
ALL TRAFFIC WILL BE DETOURED. At no time will both sections be closed simultaneously
This time frame is dependent on the weather conditions. The work zone will be secured at the end of each day. Please observe any road closure signs, flaggers or no parking signs. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to make these improvements.
