Police Activity 5300 Blk Morgantown Rd, New Morgan Borough- No Threat to Public Safety.
Caernarvon Township Police Department officers responded to the 5300 block of Morgantown Road in New Morgan Borough.
This was an isolated incident involving a 23 year old Female from Reading, for a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Officers rendered life saving measures at the scene. Responding Tower Health Paramedic and Elverson-Honey Brook EMS responded and transported to Reading Hospital Trauma Center. Person involved is stable condition.
The Caernarvon Township Police Department would like to reassure both Caernarvon Township and New Morgan that there is no threat to public safety related to this incident.
