Flood Watch issued May 1 at 12:53PM CDT until May 1 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell,
Comal, Edwards, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays,
Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, Lee, Llano, Medina, Real, Travis, Uvalde,
Val Verde, Williamson and Wilson.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...There is a potential for life threatening flooding
somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in
flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their
banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Ongoing flash flooding of creeks, streams, low water
crossings will continue through late afternoon across San
Antonio metro area. Isolated instances of flash flooding
possible elsewhere through late afternoon. Last rounds of
showers and storms will exit west to east late afternoon
through early evening.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
